AMS 2025 Year in Review: Innovation and Key Achievements

Home » Blog » AMS 2025 Year in Review: Innovation and Key Achievements

2025 was a year of meaningful momentum for AMS Aluminium Machinery Solutions. We strengthened key partnerships, introduced advanced machinery and delivered ongoing support to aluminium fabricators across Australia. Major industry events, community initiatives and client education all reinforced our commitment to smarter workflows, trusted service and long-term value.

Live Demonstrations That Delivered

Australian Manufacturing Week was a standout highlight. We exhibited alongside our international partner Pertici Industries as their official Australian distributor. For the first time in Australia, we showcased the Pertici P527 Premium, a high-performance 5-axis CNC machining centre, which drew strong interest from attendees.

Our team, including Danny, Josh, Loretta and Steave, was joined by Nicoletta and Mateo from Pertici. Live demonstrations of both the P527 Premium and the P104 Essential ran throughout the event, with the P527 consistently attracting large crowds. Its precision and smooth automation showed how 5-axis CNC technology can enhance modern fabrication workflows.

Celebrating 2 Years of AMS and 40 Years of Experience

This year marked two years under the AMS name, supported by over 40 years of industry knowledge. What began in 1985 as Luna Machinery Queensland has grown into a nationally trusted supplier of aluminium fabrication machinery.

While our branding has evolved, our values, people and commitment to clients remain the same. We are proud of where we have come from and even more excited about what lies ahead.

Innovation Meets Education

We believe education plays a critical role in helping our clients make confident, cost-effective decisions. That is why we focus not just on the machines we supply but also on providing the knowledge to use them efficiently.

In a fast-moving industry, knowledge is just as essential as technology. This year, we continued to offer practical advice and tailored insights through articles, training and demonstrations to help fabricators simplify workflows and make better investment decisions.

This included the release of the 2025 Pertici Catalogue, monthly tips on safety and ROI, and ongoing guidance on streamlining operations with automation. Our goal is to help our clients get the most out of every machine and every job.

Real Support, Real Solutions

In 2025, our team continued to deliver the reliable, hands-on support that keeps workshops productive. We assisted with machinery setups, troubleshooting, spare parts and tailored advice to ensure every machine delivered real-world results.

Clients came to AMS for expert servicing, timely access to parts and practical recommendations designed to support their operations well into the future. Every interaction had a clear purpose: to help fabricators work more efficiently, solve challenges quickly and grow with confidence.

Giving Back: Movember and the Shitbox Rally

Accessories shape the performance of your machinery. Coolant, blades, bits and spray mist systems influence tool life, material finish and reliability across every job.

AMS supports workshops with expert advice, trusted aluminium machining accessories and fast nationwide delivery. When your team counts on accuracy and uptime, every part matters right down to the accessories.

Product Highlights and Demonstrations

Throughout the year, we introduced new machines and provided hands-on demonstrations to help clients make informed choices. A key highlight was our CNC comparison sessions between the Pertici P527 Premium and the P104 Essential. These demonstrations illustrated the benefits of automation, scalability and selecting the right machine for specific workflows.

Josh played a key role in these demonstrations, not only operating the P527 and P104 but also showcasing several other machines throughout the year. His hands-on guidance was especially valuable to workshop owners, providing real-world tips that applied to both small operations and larger-scale manufacturers.

We also offered tailored advice to help manufacturers understand the differences between 4-axis and 5-axis CNC machines. This helped clients match each solution to their production requirements. Regular in-house and on-site demos gave fabricators the clarity and confidence to invest in solutions designed for long-term success.

Looking Ahead 2026

As we prepare for 2026, AMS remains focused on delivering value through innovation, service and trusted partnerships.

We are committed to staying at the forefront of aluminium machining technology so our clients can stay competitive in a changing market. We take the time to understand each business, offering tailored advice and dependable support that supports long-term success.

Above all, we believe in building strong relationships grounded in trust, backed by experience and focused on practical outcomes.

Thank you for being part of our journey in 2025! We look forward to continuing our partnership in 2026 and beyond.
